SmartMusic Repertoire Update: August 2018

Last month we talked about the SmartMusic carousel. This musical “lazy susan,” found on SmartMusic’s homepage, makes it easy for both you and your students to explore the SmartMusic repertoire library.

This month we’d like to feature a seasonal addition to the carousel: “Back to School.”

This collection was created to help you lay the groundwork for a successful year. Looking for a new routine or want to develop aural skills? Do you need new advanced techniques? We’ve compiled a list of the most popular books in SmartMusic that will give the structure you need to achieve these goals and more.

Off the Carousel

In addition to expanding the carousel, we continue to add new music to SmartMusic. This month we added three large ensemble titles exclusive to new SmartMusic, and nine large ensemble titles available in both new and classic SmartMusic. These include pieces for orchestra, band, and choir. View the complete list of additions.

Pop and Country

Also added to SmartMusic this month are six selections from Alfred’s collection Pop and Country Instrumental Solos including songs by Imagine Dragons, Ed Sheeran, and other student favorites.
