Measures of Success for Concert Band, Book 1, is a comprehensive band method that was created to ignite musical curiosity, unite conceptual knowledge with performance skills, foster understanding of the many ways that people share and interact with music, and to assess each student’s continued musical growth.
The book has undergone serious improvements in SmartMusic. Previously, each transposition set of instruments was entered as a separate title. Students often had trouble finding the right exercise, and teachers had to create multiple assignments for each title.
Now, all instruments are neatly organized into one title! Teachers may now enjoy sending out one assignment for all students versus multiple—no more making additional assignments for oboe and horn players! You’ll also notice improvement to notation and playback.
Important note
When you search SmartMusic for Measure of Success, you will only be able to find the revised book. However, your existing assignments and templates are not impacted and students will continue using the old version. If you want to take advantage of the book’s improvements, you will need to create new assignments and templates for your students.
